Building Bridges

In samenwerking met Porticus is het Wereldhuis een meerjaren-project gestart om het maatschappelijk draagvlak voor ongedocumenteerden te onderzoeken en te vergroten. Daarom is er een groep Wereldhuis-ambassadeurs opgeleid die het gesprek opzoeken met verschillende groepen in de samenleving zoals politieagenten, kunstenaars en buren van opvanglocaties voor ongedocumenteerden.

Catering

The World House boasts an excellent catering staff, several of whose members are trained to cater special events. Their service covers everything from finger food to buffets and three-course meals, in a wide variety of cuisines. Our ultimate goal is to open a World House restaurant, and we are working with the team to make this a reality. To learn more about our catering service, please email Geeske.

De Meent

This is a fruit, vegetable and livestock farm that was acquired by the diaconate of Amsterdam at the beginning of 2020. The farm, located in Amstelveen, just outside Amsterdam, is a joint project by the diaconate and the World House, and is designed to allow interested visitors a location and the tools necessary for farming.
